DECISIVENESS

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said,
“and I will make you fishers of men.”
Matthew 4:19

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, long before you were born, decisiveness was a part of My nature. Every detail of creation I planned carefully, with no shadow of turning. Long ago I decided the color of your hair and eyes, your height, your personality?and which gifts would suit you perfectly. Long ago I set My heart to love you as My own, just as I did My disciples and all My children.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, I admire Your decisiveness. You followed through faithfully with Your plan for discipleship, choosing each man carefully. You knew the perfect timing for every divine encounter. When decisions were necessary, You moved wisely. During temptation, at Your trial, and even at Your death, You were decisive, always acting unselfishly for my benefit.

SIMPLE TRUTH

Responsibility is our ability to make the right choice.
